Why our courses cost less

The courses are self paced. There is no campus, no cohort to run and no live class timetable, so the price covers the lessons, tutor support and updates when Google, Meta and the AI tools change.

The trade-off is that you do not get live classes, a cohort or college credit. If you need those, a community college, university or bootcamp program is the better choice, and the comparison table above shows what they cost.

How you pay

  • One payment in US dollars. Each course is paid once at checkout. There is no subscription and no payment plan.
  • No sales tax. We do not currently charge US sales tax.
  • No federal student aid. Federal student aid, such as Pell Grants and federal student loans, can only be used for an eligible degree or certificate program. Our courses are not one, so federal aid cannot be used for them.
  • Employers can pay. Each course is for one learner and you receive a receipt by email. If you are enrolling several staff, email [email protected].
  • Refunds. Email us within 30 days of the date of purchase for a full refund. The full terms are on our terms page.

Frequently asked questions about pricing

How much does a digital marketing course cost?

Our full courses cost $499 (Essentials), $799 (Deluxe) and $999 (Expert), paid once in US dollars. Short courses cost $79 to $149. For comparison, Noble Desktop lists full tuition of $3,995 for its self-paced Digital Marketing Certificate, and the Google Digital Marketing and E-commerce Certificate on Coursera costs $49 a month, about $294 at its suggested six month pace. In-district community college tuition can cost less: a California resident pays $775 in enrollment fees for Foothill College's online Digital Marketing Certificate of Achievement (checked October 10, 2026).

Is there a payment plan?

No. Each course is a single payment in US dollars, which keeps the price low. There is a 30 day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase.

What does the price include?

All lessons, 12 months access from the date of purchase including any lesson updates, tutor support and a Certificate of Completion, which records completion of a self paced online course.

Can my employer pay for the course?

Yes. Each course is a single payment for one learner, so an employer can pay for it like any other training, and you receive a receipt by email.

Is there a money-back guarantee?

Yes. Every course has a 30 day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. Email us within 30 days of the date of purchase for a full refund.

Is this course accredited?

No, and that's a deliberate choice. 20 Minute Marketing is not an accredited institution. Our courses are not accredited by any accrediting agency recognized by the US Department of Education, they do not carry college credit, and they have not been evaluated for an ACE credit recommendation. Accreditation adds cost, and that cost would put practical digital marketing education out of reach for many people, especially people starting out. It is also slow: an accredited program changes its curriculum through formal review, while Google, Meta and the AI tools change every few months. We update our lessons when the platforms change. If you need college credit or a degree, a community college or university program is the right choice. If you want current, practical skills, a portfolio you can show an employer or client, and a Certificate of Completion, you're in the right place. Many learners also collect free certificates from Google and HubSpot alongside our courses.

Which course should I buy?

If you are new to marketing, start with Essentials. If you have some groundwork and want to be job ready, choose Deluxe. If you need one skill, choose a short course. The course finder asks three questions and suggests one course.

Not sure which course fits?

Answer three quick questions and we will suggest one course, or compare every course on one page.
